Hello everyone! Glad you are here!
The picnic this year will be held on July 12, 2009; the same place it is every year at 3420 Camino De Los Coches, Carlsbad, CA.
Starts at: 11 am

Hello. Is this event based around Dr. Nath, or is it to promote families meeting other families? How many people usually attend? Thank you.

Good Morning BPI Mom,

Thank you for your inquiry.

Our annual picnic is a great event that brings forth the support we all need in the Southern California area.

It is such a blessing to be able to mingle with other families that are going through the same things we all go through when dealing with this injury.

We are fortunate to have a Doctor, who specializes in helping our children with brachial plexus injuries, to evaluate them at our picnic. Many of our families are helped by not having to fly their whole families to Houston for an evaluation. The opportunity to get an evaluation is available if you choose to get one.

We also have clowns, face painting and a bubble show! It's very exciting for the kids. And, it helps them to know they are not the only kid with this injury. It's amazing how they come back year after year and find old friends and make new ones.
Most of the pictures on our website at www.scbpn.org are pictures of our past picnics. Take a look when you get a chance, this will give you an excellent view of what it's like.

We have usually well over 100 people who attend.
